Impact
The initial creative development phase of this project involves a small, select group of 8 Noongar women invited by Elder Winnie McHenry. The Unfinished Business culminating exhibition will initially include a local community outcome in the Quairading region but will then be celebrated at the prominent WA Museum Boola Bardip with a potential tour across WA through CAN’s touring partnership with Art on the Move. The target audience is every Australian, from those familiar with First Nations culture to those unfamiliar. This project extends an invitation to all Australians through an immersive exhibition that intertwines tradition with cutting-edge technology. Through tangible crafted artefacts and empowered Noongar women and their storytelling the project will document and preserve precious cultural knowledge.
