About
Creatura is an original in-situ festival theatre production produced by Creality. It features a 14 metre fire breathing animatronic dragon puppet, original music, new circus, digital projection mapping and a multicultural cast of historical personages. Told through voices of Aboriginal narrators and immersed in an original soundtrack, Creatura tells historical stories specific to the places it is staged. Written and produced by regional artists, this production celebrates the best in humanity at the hardest of times. Crealty applied to premiere Creatura at the 2024 Gascoyne Travelling Arts Festival and stage a 6 week season in 6 iconic remote Gascoyne locations.

Impact
This project has yet to come to full fruition, but it is happening! The schematics and design have been done and they are now seeking additional funding to realise their dream. We congratulate them on being selected into the final 6 through the competitive process run by our Grants Assessment Panel. Only projects considered to be compelling, innovative and artistically rigorous enough make it to this stage! Each presenting finalist is given pitch training and support and although they did not win a major grant they did get to walk away with $10,000 of un-tied funding towards their practice or project! Not to mention having had great exposure to our arts industry leading panel members and many local small and large philanthropic arts funders.
